About the College

Shramjivi Samaj Kalyan Mandal’s Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Mahavidyalaya is well-known college in rural area affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University Nanded. It was established in October 2001 by Dr. Shivaji Dalnar renowned educationist, social activist, administrator and leader of the region. His vision was to provide education for boys and girls of this rural area which is socially, educationally and financially backward.


The college is recognized under 2(f) & 12 (B) of UGC Grants Scheme. While facing the assessment of NAAC in May 2017 the college proved its quality with B+ grade and 2.55 CGPA and B Grade in Academic Audit by affiliated university. On the basis of quality benchmarks the college has performed very well continuously. We offer 3 UG courses (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com.) in regular mode and PG courses in distance mode. We also run study center of YCMO Nashik to offer opportunity of study to working people of area.


The college has been providing learning atmosphere to the students in the campus with necessary physical infrastructure having well-equipped computer lab, language lab, gym, Indoor shooting range, library, ICT facilities and playgrounds. Various student welfare activities are regularly organized and student welfare schemes are there to assist the needy students of this area. There is special scheme run by the college named Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Student Welfare Fund to help students financially. The number of placed students in various govt. and private sector proves the efficiency of the college. The students from this area have shown their performance through achievement in sports at state and national level through various tournaments. The college is committed to the overall development of student entered in the college to face the challenges of outer world.
